Targeted forearm and wrist treatment can help when irritation is contributing to hand symptoms.
Myofascial release is a hands-on technique used to reduce tightness in muscles and the surrounding fascia (the connective tissue around muscles).
When an area gets tight or irritated, it can start to feel “stuck,” limited, or sore—especially in the neck, shoulders, hips, and low back.
Myofascial release helps loosen those areas so you can move more freely.
In our office, myofascial release is usually a focused 3–10 minutes on the areas that need it most—often combined with a chiropractic adjustment and simple mobility work.
If you’re looking for long, massage-style sessions, that’s not what this office is built around.
We keep things targeted and results-focused.
Myofascial release is most helpful when muscle tension is “locking things down” around a stiff joint or irritated area.
It’s especially useful when combined with an adjustment and a simple mobility plan.

"Life changing experience!! My pain has majorly decreased for the first time in years."
In our office, myofascial release is usually a short, focused add-on to your chiropractic visit—used where it will make the biggest difference.
Most visits include a combination of hands-on care (like myofascial release when needed), chiropractic adjustments, and simple mobility work so the results hold between appointments.
We commonly use more manual therapy time for areas like the shoulders and hips, and keep it more focused for spine-based complaints unless there’s a clear reason to spend extra time on surrounding areas.
Quick note on insurance: If manual therapy is performed in the same area as an adjustment, insurance doesn’t always reimburse for both services. If you want extra manual therapy time in a specific area, we’ll explain your options clearly.

Is myofascial release the same as massage?
Not exactly. It’s more targeted and focused on specific tight or irritated areas—often combined with an adjustment and mobility work.
Does the “scraping” tool hurt?
It shouldn’t feel sharp or unbearable. We keep it within a tolerable range and adjust pressure based on how your body responds.
How many visits do I need?
It depends on how long the issue has been going on and how your body responds. After your exam, you’ll get clear recommendations—without pressure.
Do you do long, manual-therapy-only sessions?
No. We use myofascial release when it makes sense as part of a results-focused visit. If you need extra time in a specific area, we’ll explain the options.
If you’re dealing with pain, stiffness, or recurring flare-ups, we’re here to help. Book online anytime, or reach out if you have questions first.
